Northville utilizes Teacher's College Readers Workshop.
This program consists of Units of Study for each grade level that exposes our students to fiction and non-fiction text.
The students participate in a workshop model that allows for direct instruction, small group, conferring, and independent reading.

Northville utilizes the Investigations Math which is an inquiry-based approach to teaching mathematics.
The students participate in a workshop model that allows for direct instruction, problem-solving strategies, utilization of manipulative, and becoming flexible math thinkers.

Northville follows the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Geography
Northville follows the Connecticut Social Studies Framworks.
Physical Education
Northville students participate in a Physical Education class once every 4 day cycle. The New Milford District follows a Wellness Plan that promotes healthy school goals to positively influence the student's understanding, beliefs, and habits
